Job Summary
Manage store operations by meeting sales and income budget expectations while controlling expenses to maximize profitability. Plan and direct daily routines including opening/closing procedures, point of sale operations, inventory management, and ARC merchandising standards. Hire, train, and coach the store team, issuing evaluations and coordinating payroll records to ensure appropriate coverage. Ensure high customer and donor satisfaction through excellent service, while overseeing Back Room Processing goals and timely product deliveries. Protect currency, inventory, and property by managing safe funds, bank deposits, and building security protocols. Conduct weekly store meetings, maintain safety measures per ARC policy, and supervise Work Therapy Assignments for program beneficiaries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisor/management experience in a retail environment
- Valid Driver's license
- Successfully pass a MVR check
- Proof of insurance
- Access to a motor vehicle
- Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers, and donors
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
