STORE MANAGER - V

Manage store operations to maximize sales and profit while maintaining an enthusiastic rapport with customers and enforcing all company policies. Control inventory shrinkage to within 2.5% of annual sales, verify merchandise receipts, and ensure accurate reporting of overages or shortages. Supervise weekly schedules for all personnel, approve expenditures over $50, and handle cash funds and sales receipts with strict security procedures. Implement company programs such as incentive plans and sales promotions to maximize associate and customer benefits. Maintain clean merchandise displays, organized stock rooms, and well-balanced inventory levels, including seasonal distribution. Report on defective merchandise, fast and slow sellers, and equipment issues to the District Manager, and handle count bulletins and markdowns with accuracy. Work designated hours as required, which may include evenings and weekends, and perform any other duties assigned by management.
