Job Summary
Greet, assist, and thank every Neighbor while delivering outstanding customer service and offering carryout support. Lead hiring, onboarding, training, evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations, coaching team members using daily operational checklists. Communicate effectively through huddles and one-on-ones to drive retail and service sales, labor cost management, and inventory accuracy. Ensure policy and procedure compliance via regular meetings and store walkthroughs, while reducing shrink and maintaining Neighbor Ready Review scores. Stay informed on product knowledge, promotions, and advertisements to achieve company goals in staffing levels and store purchases. Maintain full access to all store areas, including the sales floor and stockroom, while completing assigned educational and operational training.
Required Qualifications
- Proven retail supervisory experience
- successful prior experience as a Store Team Leader
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to bend
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to stock shelves
- Proficiency in operating store equipment
- Proficiency in operating POS systems
- Strong communication skills with team members and customers
- Ability to read, count, and write accurately
- Full access to all store areas (sales floor, stockroom, register)
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Full-time salaried position with a minimum of 45 hours per week
