Store Manager

Create a pleasant work environment while meeting sales, production, and expense budget goals. Ensure compliance with the Guide to Thrift Store & Donation Centers Operations manual through verbal and written warnings when necessary. Manage the sales floor by receiving applications, conducting interviews, and recommending applicants for employment. Conduct regular performance evaluations, schedule staff for full coverage, and submit biweekly payroll information. Order merchandise to keep the store well-stocked and ensure all cash receipts are properly accounted for and safeguarded. Provide training and direction for new and existing employees while reporting safety hazards and property damage to supervisors. Submit completed paperwork and sales reports to the finance department daily.
