Job Summary
Drive store sales and profitability by creating a customer service focused environment that exhibits best practices in sales generation, customer outreach, and visual presentation. Recruit, hire, and retain a high performing management and associate team while directing daily staff activities, providing constructive feedback, and coaching for growth. Ensure the store meets all Company standards regarding merchandising, safety, security, and compliance with local, State and Federal regulations. Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, reconcile discrepancies, and partner with corporate to maximize sales through product replenishment. Set standards for stockroom organization and operational processes related to people policies and loss prevention. Partner with the corporate retail team to build community relationships and events to drive traffic and sales. Submit all personnel paperwork, prepare reports, and monitor sales receipts and cash to support smooth store operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- 3+ years in a supervisory/management position in a customer service focused retail apparel environment
- Strong computer skills-proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience with POS systems, including inventory management functions, retail merchandising concepts and retail visual concepts
- Proven ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business in order to drive sales results
- Interpret policies and procedures to resolve customer and employee issues
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
- Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
- Climbing ladders – occasionally
- Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
