Job Summary
Store Manager Trainee (Floater/Trainer) SMIT based in Sidney, OH with regular rotation to surrounding sites. Developmental role toward becoming Store Manager; after training, perform shifts, daily management reporting, and some employee training. Over several months, gain operations and training expertise and eligibility for a bonus. Responsibilities include providing customer service leadership for the store, ensuring policy compliance, maintaining store appearance, promoting customer service, developing staff, managing emergencies, executing merchandising and marketing programs, maximizing sales, ensuring accurate store reporting, and maintaining product freshness. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, supervisory experience preferred, retail experience a plus, and completion of required training programs; strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of retail systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of Assistant Store Manager Training program and other relevant Company required training programs and required certifications
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Retail experience a plus
- Good understanding of Company systems and technology
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
- Knowledge of retail business management practices
- Knowledge of all types of store transactions and related programs
- Knowledge of ways to handle customer and employee injuries, incidents and accidents
- Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
