Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates, foster their growth through operations and merchandising training, and oversee all daily store activities to ensure smooth execution. Implement corporate operational direction, maintain high standards for merchandising and signage, and enforce compliance with laws and company policies. Manage opening and closing procedures while protecting assets and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff. This role supports the store's maximum profit contribution and includes a quarterly performance bonus. Full-time position located in Omaha, Nebraska.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
