Job Summary
Manage profitable store operations by recruiting and hiring associates, fostering their development through coaching, and overseeing daily activities to ensure smooth execution. Enforce compliance with laws and policies while implementing merchandising direction from corporate headquarters to create an inviting atmosphere. Perform opening and closing procedures, protect company assets, and maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff. Requires minimum three years of retail management experience, hardlines or variety merchandise background, and ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. Full-time role in Cary, North Carolina with quarterly bonuses for meeting performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
