Job Summary
Store Manager in Training at Dollar Tree with on-the-job training to manage store operations, merchandising, signage, and customer experience. Responsibilities include recruiting and hiring associates, developing and coaching staff, delegating store activities, ensuring legal compliance and company policies, performing opening/closing procedures, executing corporate merchandising directions, safeguarding assets, maintaining high levels of customer service, and sustaining a positive, safe, and respectful work environment. Skills and experience include 3+ years of retail management preferred, hardlines/BIG BOX experience preferred, strong freight/productivity management, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work in a high-energy team, and-capable physical requirements (lifting 30-50 lbs).
