Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates, foster their growth through operations and merchandising training, and oversee all daily store activities to ensure smooth execution. Enforce company policies and regulations while maintaining high standards for merchandising, signage, and display techniques. Manage opening and closing procedures, delegate tasks, and protect company assets to drive maximum profit contribution. Maintain a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions across customers, associates, and leadership. Full-time role with quarterly bonuses for meeting performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
