Store Manager Trainee

Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates, then foster their growth through operations and merchandising training while coaching and correcting as needed. Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations, enforce company policies, and maintain full compliance with applicable laws. Implement operational direction from corporate headquarters to maximize profit contribution, protect assets, and uphold a safe, respectful environment. Perform opening and closing procedures as required. Full-time role with quarterly bonuses for meeting performance goals. Located at 7858 Church Street, Millington, Tennessee.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
