Job Summary
Store Manager in Training at Dollar Tree responsible for recruiting and hiring store associates, developing staff through training on operations and merchandising, coaching and corrective guidance, and overseeing all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations. Role includes maintaining compliance with laws and company policies, performing opening/closing procedures, implementing merchandising directions from corporate, and driving the store toward maximum profit contribution while delivering high levels of customer service. Key skills include leadership and team development, strong written and verbal communication, merchandising and display techniques, operations management, freight processing, asset protection, and the ability to work in a high-energy, collaborative environment.
