Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers, then foster their growth through operations and merchandising training while coaching and correcting as needed. Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations, implement corporate direction, and maintain full compliance with laws and regulations. Perform opening and closing procedures, protect company assets, and ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions. Maintain high merchandising standards, proper display techniques, and a welcoming atmosphere to drive maximum profit contribution. Full-time role with quarterly bonuses for meeting performance goals; requires minimum three years of retail management experience and ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
