Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates, foster their growth through operations and merchandising training, and oversee all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations. Maintain high standards for merchandising, placement, and signage while enforcing company policies and ensuring full compliance with applicable laws. Implement operational direction from corporate headquarters, manage opening and closing procedures, and protect company assets. Reach maximum profit contribution by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, safe environment. Requires minimum 3 years retail management experience, ability to lift 30-50 lbs, and full-time status. Earn a quarterly bonus upon meeting performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
