Job Summary
Store Manager in Training at Dollar Tree responsible for recruiting and developing associates, overseeing daily store operations and merchandising, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies, and maintaining a high level of customer service. The role includes training on operations and merchandising, delegating store activities, implementing guidance from corporate, protecting assets, and delivering a positive, safe customer/employee environment. Eligible for quarterly bonuses upon meeting performance goals; full-time role based in Mars, PA with benefits and ADA accommodations as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred
- Strong productivity management in freight processing is required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
