Job Summary
Manage and oversee all aspects of business operations to maximize sales and profitability, including delegating store activities to ensure smooth daily functions. Lead, train, and develop store associates to foster a culture of growth while safeguarding company assets and ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide every customer with a positive and enjoyable shopping experience through direct engagement. Build strong relationships with the community by actively engaging in outreach and partnerships. Implement operational and merchandising direction communicated from corporate headquarters. Perform physical duties including lifting up to 40 lbs and handling frequent walking, standing, and stooping. This full-time role at Family Dollar offers medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits, with a salary range of $16.27 to $20.34 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to regularly lift, up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height
- Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Must be able to provide certain detailed background information necessary to obtain a license to sell alcoholic beverages / tobacco products
