Store Manager Trainee

Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates, oversee and delegate all store activities, and ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Foster associate growth through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriate. Implement operational direction from corporate headquarters, perform opening and closing procedures, and protect company assets to maintain a high standard of merchandising and customer service. Help the store reach maximum profit contribution while maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment. Full-time role with quarterly bonuses for meeting performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
