Job Summary
Store Manager in Training at Dollar Tree responsible for recruiting and hiring store associates, developing and coaching team members, and overseeing daily store operations. You will manage merchandising, signage, and display techniques to create an inviting customer environment, ensure compliance with laws and policies, perform opening/closing procedures, implement directives from corporate HQ, drive store profitability, protect assets, and maintain high levels of customer service. Requires ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs; includes a quarterly bonus and a broad benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience preferred
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
