Job Summary
Store Manager Trainee program to develop store leadership through in-store operational training, online learning, role-based immersion, and in-person live training events, with progression to a permanent Store Manager position. Responsibilities include supporting daily store operations (sales, credit, collections, warehouse, delivery, bookkeeping), operating POS systems, handling merchandise sales and installment contracts, inventory counts, store displays, promotions and events, potential assignment to multiple locations, and possible travel to training locations. The program emphasizes Farmers Academy and Thrive Program rotations, in-person training events, and achievement of operational readiness for Store Manager responsibilities, under the HO.M.E values.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- three (3) years experience in practical supervisory retail and/or sales experience
- valid State Driver’s License
- ability to travel overnight
- ability to operate and learn POS systems and store operations
