Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates, then foster their growth through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting as needed. Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations, enforce company policies and procedures, and maintain full compliance with applicable laws. Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters to reach maximum profit contribution, protect assets, and ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment. Perform opening and closing procedures as required. Full-time role with salary range $43,994.08 to $54,999.36 in Rochester, Minnesota. Candidates need minimum 3 years prior retail management experience and ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
