Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates, foster their growth through operations and merchandising training, and oversee all daily store activities to ensure smooth execution. Implement corporate merchandising direction, maintain high standards for display and signage, and enforce compliance with laws and company policies. Manage opening and closing procedures while protecting assets and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent standing or walking. Earn a quarterly bonus upon meeting performance goals. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Must meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
