Job Summary
Recruit and hire store associates, oversee and delegate daily operations, and ensure full compliance with laws and company policies. Foster associate growth through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting as needed. Implement operational direction from corporate headquarters, manage opening and closing procedures, and maintain proper display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere. Protect company assets and ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff. This role requires minimum 3 years of retail management experience, ability to lift 30-50 lbs, and full-time status. Quarterly bonuses are earned upon meeting performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience
- Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- BIG BOX experience
- Strong productivity management in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
