Job Summary
Lead store operations and achieve sales and surplus targets at Adelaide Salvos Stores. Manage stock flow, pricing, and visual merchandising according to brand standards while keeping budgets on track and managing rosters and wage costs. Inspire, train, and develop a team of employees and volunteers, and build strong community connections with local groups and partners. Maintain a permanent, full-time schedule with no Sunday work.
Required Qualifications
- Retail management experience
- Strong proven customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and engage people
- Ability to work to budgets and manage operational priorities
- Alignment with The Salvation Army Mission and Values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity
- Successful completion of a Working with Children Check
- Mandatory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
