Job Summary
Store Manager leads a single-unit retail operation in Sylvania, ensuring efficient store performance, compliance with laws and company policies, staff training and development, and achievement of sales goals. Responsibilities include customer-service leadership for the store team, enforcing policies, maintaining a clean and organized store, fostering customer satisfaction, developing leaders, responding to emergencies, executing merchandising and marketing programs, educating staff on selling initiatives, monitoring transactions, ensuring fresh product presentation, and timely completion of reports and performance reviews. Requires supervisory experience, retail/customer service background, and completion of required company training programs; high school diploma or GED is required. The role is salaried exempt with a 50-hour work week and involves lifting and physical duties as part of standard store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of the Assistant Store Manager Training program and other relevant Company required training programs and required certifications
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Retail / Customer service experience
- Good understanding of Company systems and technology
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
- Knowledge of retail business management practices
- Knowledge of all types of store transactions and related programs
- Knowledge of ways to handle customer and employee injuries, incidents and accidents
- High School Diploma or GED
