Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for leading a Staples store with a focus on community engagement, customer-centric consulting, and team development. Drive merchandise sales, print & marketing services, and retail operations while coaching managers to deliver total solutions, maintain operational excellence, and achieve profitable YOY results. Role requires guiding a team, ensuring a consultative selling environment, lifting materials as needed, and upholding Staples values. Preferred candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and demonstrates experience in retail leadership, financial acumen, and community networking.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in a retail environment
- Store Operations experience with analysis, planning, financial acumen and driving results
- Experience creating a customer centric environment and working in a consultative selling environment that provides customers a total solution
- Experience developing a team in operational excellence to drive profitable YOY sales and margins
- Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
