Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations at Southcenter Mall, including opening and closing the shop, managing day-start and day-end cash, and ensuring accurate inventory maintenance and merchandise presentation. Motivate the sales team, create business strategies, train new staff, and assist with all POS transactions while maintaining high enthusiasm and a fun environment. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and safety protocols. Manage diverse teams with high emotional intelligence, provide constructive feedback, and foster collaborative teamwork. Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of retail management experience
- 2-5 years of customer service
- Passion for people!
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback and recognition to every team member
- High emotional intelligence
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to transport stock as may be required; lifting cartons up to 25 lb.
- Must be well-spoken
- Confident in their ability to interact with people at all levels
- Able to consistently perform at the highest level
- Must be able to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment
