Job Summary
Direct store operations by recruiting, hiring, and developing talent while ensuring compliance with brand policies, safety protocols, and asset protection standards. Lead merchandising activities to drive healthy product turnover and gross margins through visual updates and product placement aligned with brand guidelines. Manage controllable expenses via effective scheduling and financial discipline, analyzing reporting to identify opportunities and elevate the customer experience. Articulate brand positioning and educate the team on lifestyle concepts and product knowledge while modeling inclusive culture and driving engagement. Forecast business trends to maximize store performance and deliver sales results within a flexible schedule that includes evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School
- 18 years old or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Requires physical activity which may require lifting (up) to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Some college or bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of Supervisory/Management experience in the retail industry
- 2 of those years in a Store Manager position
- Proven ability to recruit, select, develop, and retain full store team and hold individuals accountable for performance
- Proven ability to foster team commitment and create a positive, inclusive working environment
- Demonstrated ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the customer remains the top priority
- Demonstrated ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow-up on all store activities
- Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to forecast and analyze business trends act on findings and manage payroll expense to maximize store performance; proven ability to deliver sales results
- Ability take initiative, prioritize, and meet deadlines as assigned with minimal supervision and within designated timeframes
