Job Summary
Achieve sales and gross profit results for the store as measured by the budget. Prepare work schedules, supervise employees engaged in sales work, take inventories, reconcile cash with sales receipts, and keep operating records. Oversee implementation of pricing policies on merchandise according to requirements for profitability. Merchandise products and the store effectively, maintaining cleanliness and proper image while implementing planned sales promotion activities. Travel will be required to other locations for training, physical inventory, and coverage as needed. Must be available to work with department demands including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least one-year experience in retail store management
- Must be available to work with the demands of the department which include weekends and holidays
- Must have strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college preferred
