Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for planning, directing and controlling store operations and supervising all employees to maintain profitability. Oversees hiring, training, and disciplinary actions; develops and enforces policies and procedures; manages inventory, merchandising, losses, and store budgeting; interprets financial statements (P&L) and sets objectives to improve performance; ensures compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates scheduling, cash handling, and vendor relations; requires strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills and proficiency with Excel and Word.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading and supervising employees
- Ability to read, interpret, and act on financial statements including Profit and Loss
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability
- Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and policy enforcement
- Cash handling and cash office operations
- Vendor and supplier relationship management
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to travel up to 1 hr 15 min for work
- Self-motivated with ability to develop and enforce company policies
- Knowledge of or ability to learn store equipment and computer systems (Excel, Word)
- Proven ability to hire, train, and manage staff
- Ability to open/close store and balance cash drawer
