Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for directing store operations, supervising all employees, controlling inventory, merchandising, losses, and profitability while ensuring regulatory compliance. Leads hiring, training, and policy enforcement; analyzes financial statements (P&L) and sets objectives to address deficiencies; manages scheduling and cash operations; coordinates with vendors and maintains vendor relationships; travels to/from the store up to 1 hour 15 minutes. Requires strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and enforce procedures; proficient in reading/writing and basic arithmetic; operates store equipment and Excel/Microsoft Word; conducts meetings and communicates business results and direction to employees.
Required Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Develop and enforce company policies and procedures
- Be a self-starter
- Travel to & from work up to a max drive time of 1 hr 15 min
- Read and interpret financial statements, including profit and loss
- Supervise the recruiting and training of employees
- Operate cash office and balance store cash
- Provide verbal and written direction to employees
- Discipline employees according to company policy when necessary
- Have extensive knowledge of and/or be able to perform the duties of the employees in his or her store
