Job Summary
Lead store operations by supervising daily activities for the management, sales, and stock teams while driving total store goals and key performance indicators. Execute the sales plan by educating associates on personal targets, identifying business trends, and reacting quickly to needs to maximize revenue. Maintain operational excellence through rigorous merchandising standards, inventory audits, and stockroom organization, ensuring compliance with all safety and security regulations. Develop internal talent via coaching, constructive feedback, and training programs to build a strong leadership bench, while recruiting and interviewing external candidates to meet staffing demands.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of managerial experience in a customer service focused retail environment
- Proven ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business in order to drive sales results
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures to resolve customer and employee issues
- Experience with POS systems, including inventory management functions
- Effective management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills-proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management skills
