Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for leading retail operations at Mister Safety Shoes in Tecumseh, Ontario. Drive exceptional customer service, recruit and develop store staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Lead a team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, oversee performance reviews, scheduling, and reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve store performance. Proficient use of POS systems and MS Word/Excel; ability to analyze sales data and implement improvement strategies; committed to creating a positive, customer-focused environment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role
- Flexibility to work shifts within retail hours
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word & Excel; experience with POS systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to analyze sales and performance data
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop team; provide performance feedback
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders as needed
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
