Job Summary
Manage all aspects of store operations including sales, vehicle production, customer care, and personnel while ensuring safety and environmental compliance. Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Team to maintain a clean, compliant store and lead by example in following administrative policies. Manage, train, and develop Managers in Training, Assistant Managers, and supervisors; handle staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Drive store performance by optimizing sales and production, analyzing monthly financial statements, and preparing operating reports for the Regional Director. Establish community relationships to enhance the Pick-n-Pull Brand and safeguard company assets. Work extended periods standing, walking, and handling tools up to 50 pounds, with exposure to outdoor weather and minimal chemical hazards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Solid quantitative skills to understand store financial performance and operating statistics
- Ability to reconcile sales, prepare reports and read technical manuals
- Able to handle multiple priorities while performing quality work in an efficient manner with minimal supervision
- Able to work required hours which includes weekends and holidays
- Minimum of a 3 year's management or leadership experience in the automotive field while participating in all phases of operations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 18 years of age or older (U.S. applicants)
- 16 years of age or older (Canada applicants)
- Must pass post-offer drug screen and background check
- Must review and sign an Arbitration Agreement (U.S. non-union employees)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have sufficient vision to perform job functions safely
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and stretch for extended periods
- Must be able to handle tools
- Must be able to move 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Must be able to handle minimal chemical hazards

- Must be able to manage staffing levels, delegate duties and schedule work hours
- Must be able to attract, screen, hire, retain and develop all employees
- Must be able to drive store performance by optimizing sales, production, and vehicle purchasing
- Must be able to manage numbers by understanding and taking corrective actions in response to monthly financial statements and operating statistics
- Must be able to establish community relationships to promote and enhance the Pick-n-Pull Brand
- Must be able to follow company policy and procedures and lead by example
- Must be able to ensure policies and procedures are communicated and implemented at the store level
- Must be able to prepare operating reports for the Regional Director
- Must be able to ensure all transactions and cash management procedures are in compliance with company policy
- Must be able to safeguard company assets
- Must be able to partner with all internal corporate support resources to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations
- Must be able to effectively and efficiently work within the guidelines of the administrative policies and procedures
- Must be able to ensure the store operates both safely and environmentally compliant
- Must be able to promote a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant store for employees and customers
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must have an outgoing, friendly, positive attitude
