Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations at Plato's Closet Utica, leading a team to hit performance metrics and deliver a fun, customer-focused environment. Drive profitability by coordinating with owners on margins and cost-of-goods while teaching and developing staff to deliver exceptional service. Foster a culture aligned with the company’s 7 Core Values, adapt to change, encourage calculated risk-taking, and implement ideas to help the team grow. This role requires hands-on leadership, active engagement with customers and team members, and the ability to translate store performance data into actionable improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Prior management experience (retail preferred, but not required)
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50lbs
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
