Job Summary
Store Manager at Plato's Closet responsible for overseeing daily store operations, leading a team to hit performance metrics, and sharing in profits when goals are reached. Drive a energetic, customer-focused environment, manage staffing and training, foster adherence to the company’s 7 core values, adapt to change, and implement ideas to grow the team and store profitability. Oversees purchasing/selling process in a teen/young adult resale store and ensures strong in-store operations, people management, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Prior management experience (retail preferred, but not required)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Good with numbers. We'll teach you what our margin goals are, how to calculate cost of goods, etc.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and safely lift 50lbs without assistance
