Job Summary
Lead your store team by example, including being the first on the floor to play with neighbors' new puppies and recognizing local cat shelter directors at the register. Analyze sales results to maximize productivity, while ensuring weekly schedules are created to optimize engagement. Adhere to operational policies regarding animal care, safety, cleanliness, and security to provide exceptional service. Promote team morale through coaching, feedback, and career development, while maintaining a fully staffed team via recruiting and onboarding. Connect with community organizations to partner on events and marketing opportunities. Achieve strong audit and neighbor engagement scores to promote the brand.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience leading retail teams
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- good communication skills
- Ability to operate all equipment – including a forklift

- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
