Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for leading a customer-focused and sales-driven store, overseeing all aspects of in-store presentation and operational functions. Key responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, ensuring outstanding customer experiences, coaching team members, maintaining store standards, managing performance metrics, and developing action plans for sales and operations. Candidates should have a strong passion for fashion and trends, with proven retail and management experience, and effective communication skills. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holiday periods.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years retail experience required
- Minimum of two years of retail management experience required
- Ability to interpret all policies and procedures to resolve customer and associate issues
- Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills
- Willingness to travel periodically to attend meetings/workshops (overnight may be necessary)
Desired Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or equivalent preferred
- Proven ability to drive sales results in a high sales volume environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
