Job Summary
Store Manager leading Lush North America retail operations in Escondido, CA. Drive customer experience and store performance by recruiting and developing a management team, training staff on brand, product, and service, managing budgets and sales targets, and delivering an inclusive, high-energy store environment. Responsibilities include sales planning, brand education on Fighting Animal Testing and Ethical Buying, product knowledge growth, performance coaching, DEIB and staff engagement, recruitment and selection, scheduling and attendance, inventory management, and visual merchandising to align with company standards. Requires strong leadership, customer service, analytical mindset, and flexibility to work holidays, evenings, and weekends. Knowledge of skincare/natural beauty and proficiency with Excel/office tools are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years managing in a retail environment
- Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution and performance management
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings, and weekends
