Job Summary
Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing store team through in-the-moment feedback, regular floor observations, and consistent 1:1 check-ins. Lead the Division of Responsibility (DOR) program and ensure consistent execution of the Manager on Duty (MOD) program by setting clear expectations and reinforcing accountability. Model Rothy's Experience through exceptional service and selling from the sales floor, actively coaching the team to uphold brand standards and drive sales targets. Build customer loyalty through effective clienteling, work with cross-functional partners to optimize inventory, and plan in-store events that connect with the local community. Manage payroll, staffing, and store expenses to meet business goals while maintaining visual merchandising and cleanliness. Work a minimum of 40 hours weekly, including peak business days, holidays, and evening shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of progressive retail leadership experience
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Good judgment on key work and core issues
- Ability to think critically and exhibit problem-solving skills
- Strong skills in coaching, talent development, and building engaged, high-performing teams
- Operational expertise, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory management
- The ability to stand/walk an entire shift
- The ability to lift, push carry or otherwise move up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently bending, reaching, stretching, and safely use ladders and step stools
- Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours/week, including peak business days (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays), holidays, and evening and opening shifts
