Job Summary
Store Manager at Lowe’s responsible for leading associates, delivering quality customer service, and maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with products customers need. Oversees store operations including expenses, merchandising standards, compliance, safety, security, and workforce; partners with HR, Asset Protection, and Operations to execute the Lowe’s business strategy; builds and supports a store culture aligned with Lowe’s mission; drives talent recruitment and development, sales, service strategies, and data-informed planning; ensures asset protection and safety measures, and acts as Lowe’s brand ambassador in the community. Requires availability mornings, afternoons, and evenings; physical ability to lift 25 pounds (up to more with assistance); limited travel to meetings/trainings or to support neighboring stores. The role may require obtaining any required sales licensure or registrations. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and experience in large-scale retail leadership and community partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience leading associates in a large retail environment, with Sales Volume exceeding 20M annually
- 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment
- Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships in a matrixed environment
- Experience analyzing and using customer, market, and competitor data to inform decisions and business planning
- Experience managing/sponsoring the implementation of corporate or local change initiatives
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
