Job Summary
Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet selling, visual, and operational needs while maintaining a clean, replenished store and stockroom. Build product confidence through educational tools and execute all product, visual, and marketing directives to ensure customer satisfaction. Anticipate customer needs, drive digital sales strategies including ship-from-store and BOPIS, and communicate feedback to District or Market Managers. Coach management and associate teams, manage underperformance with supervisor and HR support, and create shortage action plans to minimize loss. Accountable to self and others for achieving sales, metric, and operational goals using key business reports and payroll tools.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for product, brands, fashion and trends
- Minimum five years retail experience required
- Minimum of two years of retail management experience required
- Willingness to travel periodically to attend meetings/workshops (overnight may be necessary)
- Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Ability to frequently sit/stand for long periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
- Ability to frequently talk or hear
- Ability to frequently sit
- Ability to frequently stand
- Ability to frequently walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Ability to reach, twist or squat
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office areas
