Job Summary
Store Manager at Kay Jewelers leads day-to-day operations of a single store at Woodland Mall (Grand Rapids, MI), driving sales, profitability, customer experience, inventory control, and brand representation. The schedule includes a five-day, 40-hour work week with opening/closing shifts and travel for training as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of college preferred
- 3 years of retail sales experience, OR 2 years retail sales experience plus a minimum of 1-year retail management experience
- Diamond Council of America (DCA) certification preferred
- Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient with computers, MS Office and related tools
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and training capabilities
- Ability to plan and organize tasks, meet deadlines, and delegate
- Ability to understand and explain detailed information
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Travel for training and meetings may be required
