Job Summary
Store Manager at JD Sports Masonville Place is responsible for leading the store in driving sales, maintaining visual standards, and coaching a team to provide best-in-class service. Key duties include setting weekly schedules, managing inventory and merchandising, overseeing end-to-end in-store e-commerce processes (processing, picking, packing, shipping to customers), reducing shrinkage, handling weekly bank deposits and store expenses, building a talent pipeline, staying current with new product releases, partnering with HR to fill positions, training staff, managing biweekly payroll submissions, ensuring visual presentation meets merchandising standards, and hosting local events while upholding company standards. Requires 5+ years retail management experience, strong leadership, data analysis and Excel skills, customer-focused communication, and proficiency with IOS and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail management experience
- Strong background in leadership and building teams
- Must be a fashion, sportswear or footwear enthusiast
- Must be able to multitask & manage time independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must
- Experience in data analysis and building Excel reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and goal-oriented individual
- Strong proficiency in IOS based programs and products
- Strong proficiency in Excel & other MS Office programs
