Job Summary
Store Manager role based in Xenia, OH overseeing all store processes and staff. Responsible for recruiting and retaining employees, training and evaluating performance, managing payroll and advancement decisions, ensuring proper staffing and opening/closing routines, monitoring sales, profitability and inventory trends, managing stock replenishment, merchandising presentation, cash handling and security, and maintaining a safe, well-organized store. Requires leadership in customer service, compliance with policies, and collaboration with corporate and store teams to achieve store objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of management experience in a retail environment
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination practices including legal compliance and internal processes
- Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices (deposits, store keys, SAFE program, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and basic cost controls
