Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for the management of all employees and the planning and implementation of store processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support. Recruits, selects and retains qualified employees; conducts training and performance evaluations; addresses pay and advancement; communicates performance, safety, and policy expectations; ensures store opening/closing; analyzes operating statements and inventory management; oversees stocking, merchandising, pricing, and signage; maintains inventory accuracy and cash-control procedures; provides strong customer service leadership; maintains a clean, safe store and ensures compliance with company policies and SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of management experience in a retail environment
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
