Job Summary

Store Manager oversees all store operations at the Washington, WV Dollar General, including planning, staffing, training, performance evaluations, and adherence to policies. Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining qualified employees, conducting training and performance evaluations, managing scheduling (opening/closing), analyzing sales and inventory trends, ensuring proper stock replenishment, maintaining merchandising standards and pricing, enforcing cash control and asset protection, delivering superior customer service, maintaining a safe, clean store, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. Requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, plus knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and retail operations; bilingual Spanish skills may be favored at certain locations. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent with preference for retail management experience.

Required Qualifications
