Job Summary
Store Manager in Training leads and develops sales staff, recruits and orients employees, and strives to meet sales goals in a commission-driven environment. The role includes training, mentoring, coaching, scheduling, and managing store operations to improve customer satisfaction and employee engagement, while monitoring expenses and ensuring compliance. The program prepares the individual for a management position by overseeing daily sales performance, financial analysis, and creating a positive, team-based store environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
