Job Summary
Assist the store manager with sales, store appearance, and overall operations while preparing for a management position. Responsibilities include supervising team members, participating in hiring processes, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring safety compliance. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential, along with completion of required training programs. This role supports operational effectiveness through monitoring team productivity and managing P&L statements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
- Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
Desired Qualifications
- O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
- Completed O’Reilly management training program
- Advanced computer skills
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
