Job Summary
Store Manager in Training responsible for assisting in supervising store operations, sales, and team performance under the district/store management team. Focus areas include recruiting, interviewing, training, evaluating and promoting team members; ensuring safety compliance; maintaining store appearance and KPI dashboards; processing payroll and scheduling; assisting in P&L review; driving sales and customer calls; and developing staff through formal certification programs (Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, Manager Development Program) to prepare for a future store-manager role. Bilingual candidates are encouraged. The role requires high school diploma, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, knowledge of automotive parts, and the ability to manage certifications and training initiatives within a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
