Job Summary
The Store Manager in Training will assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations, including sales and maintaining store appearance. Responsibilities include supervising team members, participating in the hiring process, conducting training, evaluating performance, and ensuring safety compliance. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, a high school diploma, and complete required certifications. Additional skills in automotive parts knowledge and leadership are crucial, with preference for candidates with relevant experience or certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
- Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
Desired Qualifications
- O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
- Completed O’Reilly management training program
- Advanced computer skills
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
